Mrs. Hansatu Adegbite
Hansatu Adegbite is a respected leader with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit, private, and public sectors. She is widely known for championing women’s empowerment, inclusive leadership, and strategic partnerships.
She currently serves as a National Consultant to UN Women and was the immediate past Executive Director of WIMBIZ. Hansatu has held key roles on several presidential and ministerial committees in Nigeria, influencing national gender and development policies.
An alumna of Harvard Business School, Business School Netherlands, and University of Abuja, Hansatu is also a faculty member at NIPSS, the Enterprise Development Center (Pan-Atlantic University), and other institutions.
She sits on several boards including:
- National Steering Council, Presidential Advisory Council for Women and Girls
- Advisory Boards: CARE Nigeria, Women’s Radio Nigeria, Women in ENergy & Healthcare
- NEC Member, Nigerian Conservation Foundation
- International Advisory Board, Business School Netherlands

Hansatu has been recognized nationally for her commitment to gender equality and social impact, and remains dedicated to mentorship, advocacy, and nation-building.
